Teaching Philosophy
“My philosophy of teaching evolved from my years as a student. Growing up, I was taught by many brilliant and nurturing teachers who were invested in my education, took my ideas seriously, and spent time getting to know me both in and out of the classroom. They treated me with respect, trusted in my desire to learn, and displayed compassion and concern in a positive learning environment.
These learning experiences were important factors in my decision to become a teacher. As I reflect on life as a student, I think about my goals as a teacher.
