Alumni Giving/Special Projects

Special Projects

The St. Margaret Mary School administration and leadership team is always planning for ways to enhance our building, our programs, and the experience our families have in our community. We are strategic in our vision of the future and still flexible enough to be able to seize an opportunity when one presents itself.

  • Our primary goal is to build the funds through which we are able to offer tuition assistance. Many fundraising strategies are are currently in place to help us build this fund. Would you like to help? St. Margaret Mary would be thrilled to accept your donation, large or small; or to open a scholarship fund in honor of your family or in memory of a loved one with a special bond to our community. Please contact our principal, Laurie Konicek, if you would like to make a gift toward this purpose.
  • Our second goal is to secure the funds necessary to fill specific needs in the classroom. Each classroom has several computers; we need to make the changes in our building that ensure adequate Internet accessibility and access to the most innovative programs for our students. To this end, we are seeking funds to equip each classroom with an interactive white board. We now share one in the school library. Would you like to help with this project? We would be happy to dedicate a classroom whiteboard to whomever you choose! Please contact Ms. Konicek for more information.
  • Finally, we would love to add a Resource Teacher to our faculty, one who could be available in our building daily help each child be successful in their school work. This is a big, huge audacious goal for us because, of course, the funding for an additional staff person has to appear year after year in our budget. We believe whole-heartedly in investing in people—staff people and students—but we will need some serious help to reach this goal. If this is within your reach, we ask you to think about it, pray about it, and call Ms. Konicek!
